都内の駅で見つけた広告ワザ、ベスト10

毎日ではないけれど、たまに電車で通勤途中に、退屈なポスターを眺めながら考えることがある。「一体、何人の人たちが、今日この同じポスターを見たんだろう？」。都内の電車はご存知の通り、すし詰め状態。新宿駅は一日当たり“地球で”最も多くの乗客で溢れかえる駅である。だから駅が広告のメッカとなるのは、当然と言えるだろう。何時間も電車で突っ立っていれば、広告以外に何を見ろと言うのか。ならばこれはというおもしろ広告を選んでみようか！という訳で、今回の特集は「都内の駅で見つけた広告ワザ、ベストテン10」！

それでは、都内の電車や駅で見つけた10の広告ワザをご紹介しよう。

1. プラットホームはあなたの“舞台”

まずは殺人的に混み合う渋谷駅からスタート。この明星大学のとてもポップな広告は、渋谷の駅の壁を覆い尽し、ホームで電車を待つ人々の素敵な“背景”となっている。

2. 巨大シール

壁に広告を貼るスペースがないなら、床に巨大シールを貼ってみてはどうだろう。グレーのコンクリートもカラフルに変身。

3. 無料配布物付きポスターキャンペーン

ちょっと前にPingMagでは、iPod nanoのとてもよく出来たキャンペーンを紹介した。この手の「無料配布物付きポスター」はいつも大変な人気。最近行われた、渋谷駅でのキャノンのキャンペーンを写真で追ってみよう。

この謎めいた小さな黒いパッケージ、描かれた絵はかなりファンキーだけど、開けたら正直ガッカリ…。キャノンの新作カメラのミニカタログは入れ物には全くそぐわない。（「無料配布物付きポスターキャンペーン」の写真がもっと見たい方は、Flickrのフォトギャラリーへアクセス！）

4. プロダクト彫刻

自社製品で彫刻を造ってしまえ！新宿駅構内の柱になっていたウコン茶のボトルは、かなり笑える。これなら誰の目にも留まるはず！

5. 使える場所はどこでも使え

全ての広告スペースが埋まってしまった？大丈夫！

いくつかの駅の改札口でも広告を発見した。これはテレビ情報雑誌「テレビジャパン」と「メトロカード新発売」だが、改札は酷使されるため、これらの広告も剥がれかけているようだ。

6. 情報に乗れ

非常にエレガントで気の利いた広告スペースが欲しいなら、エスカレーターの手すりを使うことだ。Aap!は、こうしたエスカレーター広告のソリューションを手がけている。下はデモンストレーション用の、ただの飾り。　

次のものは乃木坂の駅に導入されたものである（導入は1時間とかからない）。この動く広告は乃木坂周辺のショップ、レストラン、見所といったあらゆる種類の情報を載せることが可能だ。利用者は興味のあるスポットのQRコードを携帯電話でスキャンして、さらに詳しい情報が得られる。

7. トレイン・ジャック！

トレイン・ジャック（一定の期間、電車の車内広告スペース全てを買い占める）やラッピング・トレイン（電車の外部全てを広告で覆う）は、東京ではきわめてポピュラーな宣伝方法だ。これらの電車で何駅か乗ったら、その効果のほどを思い知るだろう。自分の駅で降りた時には、もうあなたはお仲間同様、その広告に洗脳されてしまっている。今回の車中では、今年日本に上陸したスウェーデン発の大手家具店「IKEA」の色とパターンに浸っていただきましょう！

8. これって本物！

誰だって電車内で過ごす時間は長いから、ちょっとした驚きは大歓迎！ここでは中吊り広告に貼られた「本物」をいくつか紹介しよう。

9. 吊り革に技あり

電車内でユーモラスなのは中吊り広告だけではない。吊り革にもクリエイティブは力を発揮する。PingMagのお気に入りは、コレ。より多くの融資をお約束するネクタイ…なんと金融会社の広告なのだ…。

10. トンネル・ムービー

実際に見たことが無いのが非常に残念だけれど、トンネル・ムービーこそ電車の乗客にとっての最高のエンタテイメントだと思う。トンネル・ムービーは、パラパラ漫画と同じ原理で、一そろいの静止画像から成っている。トンネルの壁に設置された絵が、電車の動きによって連続して目に入り、最長7秒の映画として映るのだ。こちらのデモで感じがつかめるだろう。

数年前に幾つかの記事が、この技術が新しいブームになることを予測したにもかかわらず、不幸なことに私はまだそれを目にしていない…。人気がありすぎて、トラブっているのだろうか？

4. 吊革にネクタイの広告は評判悪いです。
   広告業界の人間からしたら面白い企画ですが、
   キャッシング→首吊り自殺を連想されちゃうんで。
   毎日通勤に使ってる身としては外してほしいですね（汗）

    エスカレーターの手すりを使うというのは思いつきそうで思いつきにくいとても斬新なアイデアですよね！急いでいるサラリーマンでもエスカレーターを使っている間は止まっていていますもんね。いいなぁ。

12. トンネルムービーは初めて見たとき感動しました。
    しかし、エスカレーターの手すりは手に触れ、
    体を預けるものなので、広告まみれだと、
    無意識に信じられなくなってしまいます。
    広告媒体としては確かにおもしろいけど、
    若干やりすぎ感あります。
    デザインもいいけど、それによって安全機能を失わせては
    もともこもないですね。
