東京をタダで楽しむ10の方法

「東京に一度は行ってみたいんだけど、ほら東京って高いでしょ？お金がなくて…」

ぜひ行きたいと言いつつ、結局一度も東京に来ない人のいい訳ナンバー１がこれだと思う。

でも、東京がどんな所か体験するのに、お金はいらないと思うよ！必要なのは、いいものをタダで楽しめる場所を知る事。そんなわけで、PingMagがちょっとお手伝いしたいと思いまーす。日本の読者には、「当たり前じゃん」と思える事も多いかもしれないけど、「へー、外国の人からみたら、こういう事が新鮮に映るんだ！」というインターナショナルな感覚を楽しんでもらえたら、と思う。じゃ、行くよー。

1) タクシーのデザイン

東京（日本）に初めての来た人には、こんな事も楽しいと思う。それは、道路の脇に立って、どれだけ違うデザインのタクシーが走っているかを数える事。簡単でしょ？ニューヨーク、ロンドン、ベルリンなどの海外の主要都市では、一つの色／デザインが主流になっているのに対して、東京では、たくさんのタクシー会社がそれぞれのユニークなデザインを披露してくれる。中には、昔のレーシングカーみたいなデザインや、いろんな模様を使ったもの、一色で上品にまとめたものなどもあって、とにかくバラエティに富んで楽しい。（ちなみに、ニューヨークは黄色、ロンドンは黒、そしてベルリンではベージュのタクシーが主だ。）

東京近郊のエリアだけで、50,000台ものタクシーが走っているんだって。

2) マンホールの蓋のデザイン

ゆっくり歩いて、道路上にある、マンホールの蓋を探すのもいいかも。いろんなデザインがあって楽しいんだから！

日本にあるマンホールの蓋のデザインは、県や、市や、町によってドラマチックに変化する。理由は、その下にあるトンネルの役割を分かりやすくするためだったり、また地域の特徴を出すためだったりする。（県の花や、名所をあしらったりしたものも。）

オーストラリア人アーティスト、スコット・キャンベル(Scott Campbell)は、2000年から日本中で見つけた様々なマンホールの蓋のデザインを、木版画で再現するという事を始めた（彼の事は、フジテレビやテレビ新広島で取り上げられたけど…彼が、いつの日にかアナログなアーティストでいる事をやめた時には、彼の作品画像を皆さんにもお見せしたい）

3) タダのティッシュペーパー

季節にもよりけりだけど、（ピークは花粉症の季節と、風邪大流行の時期だ）広告がついたポケットティッシュを配っている人を至る所で見つける事が出来る。一番と言っていいほどよく見かけるのは、武富士のお花畑のティッシュだ。このポケットティッシュに関しては、日本に来る前から知っていたほどだ。

かわいいデザインを見つけるのは結構難しい。それに、広告の内容によって、男性のみ／女性のみ、又は若い人／年配の人のみ、あと日本人のみって場合もあるかも…どのくらい集められるかな？

4)スタンプ・ツアー

日本人はスタンプ好きだ。そんな訳で、いろんな場所で美しいデザインのスタンプを見かけるかもしれないが、驚かないで。新宿の東京都庁（あ、ついでに東京の素晴らしい景色がタダで楽しめるよ）や、防災館などの公の場所から、東京国際フォーラム、お寺に神社、地下鉄の駅や郵便局でまで、ありとあらゆる場所でオリジナルのスタンプを楽しむ事が出来る。日記帳に、その場を訪れた証拠として押すのもよし、単純に素晴らしい日本のスタンプを集めて回るのもよし、ぜひ注意して見つけてみてね。

5) 入場無料のイベント

さて、お土産を十分集めたら、次は出かけていって、何かを見たいよね。東京のアート・デザイン系イベントカレンダー東京アートビートには、入場無料のイベントのみをあつかったクールなセクションがある。ギャラリーや美術館を訪れて、「タダで」日本、そして海外のアーティストの作品を楽しんでみては？

6) グラフィティ／ストリートアート

東京のストリートアートを見たい人にはここ。東横線とJRの線路沿いを、中目黒か恵比寿駅から渋谷方面に向かって歩いていくと、ローカル／インターナショナルなグラィティ界のヒーローたちが東京の街に残したユニークなスタイルを眺める事ができる。

7) 最新の携帯電話

携帯電話に興味がある人には、東京はとても楽しい場所だと思う。だって、本当にあらゆる場所で最新のケータイに触ってみる事ができるんだもん。静かでオシャレな空間でケータイを楽しみたいと言う人には、Vodafoneのフラッグシップショップ「ボーダフォン 渋谷」、原宿のKDDIデザイニングスタジオなど、数多くのショールームがある。他にも、多くの電器店では、入り口付近に最新のケータイが所狭しと並べられている。近くを通ったら素通りするのは難しいかも。

8) ゲーム・ゲーム・ゲーム

ゲームはお好き？最新のゲームをチェックしたり、心地よいソファーに座って別世界を楽しみたい？そんなあなたは、ビックカメラ、ヨドバシカメラ、さくらや…などなど、巨大家電店で新しいゲーム機に触れてみては？それか、やっぱりオシャレな雰囲気を好む人には、銀座のソニービルのショールーム、または、表参道にあるXbox cafeに行ってみて。リリースされたばかりのゲームと優雅な雰囲気が、「実はただで遊んでいるんだ」という事を忘れさせるはず。

9) アニメ・マンガ・キャラクター

日本はマンガ好きにはたまらない場所だ。そしてキャラクター好き、フィギュア好きにも。今更言うまでもないかもしれないけど、そんなあなたにはやっぱり秋葉原が一番おすすすめだ。最新の流行から、ヴィンテージものまで、さまざまなフィギュア、キャラクターを見つける事が出来る。小さな横道も見逃さずに目を凝らしてみて！ここでしかお目にかかれないような世界が広がっているから。

10) …最後にフリー・マッサージ

東京の電器街、秋葉原に足を踏み入れたなら、巨大家電店にも足を伸ばして欲しい。CDを視聴したり、DJ／VJキットで遊んだり、他ではまだお目にかかれない最新の機器を体感したり…思いっきりはしゃいでほしい。

そして、疲れ果てたら、家電のフロアにある、高級マッサージチェアを試してみるのもいいかも。

3. こんにちは。初めて書き込みます。ヒナコといいます。今日「悪童処」にいって、ここのホームページを教えてもらいました。

   海外の方が興味を持つものとは違うかもしれませんが、東京は日本人でもタダ、もしくは格安で楽しめる場所がたくさんあります！銀座にはたくさんのギャラリーがあるし、ショールームもいっぱい。
   私の大好きな丸いポストに、公園、庭園。お土産だって絵葉書に風景印でばっちり。もう、いろんな人にしってほしい場所が死って欲しい事が山ほどあります。

   日本には四季があるからどんな場所も毎日違う景色になります。しっかり五感を使えばなんでもどこでもお金を使わず楽しめますよ。
