HAPPY 1. BIRTHDAY, PING!!!
…well, we don’t really have a particular “birth-day”, but since we had our official release party last year in September, we thought it is time for a BIRTHDAY PARTY this year!
Just as I was wondering about how to organize one, Cal Lyall from Test Tone (a monthly event at SuperDeluxe) approached me completly out of the blue with a cup of coffee and a perfectly mapped out plan for an Outdoor Summer Festival at Yoyogi Park. Good idea, I thought! So here we go:
Test Tone presents Pingmag festival in Yoyogi Park
September 3, 2006 (Sunday) 13:00 to 21:00
Featuring: TUCKER, GOMA+NIGHT JUNGLE, L?K?O+U-ZHAAN, JIMANICA+ITOKEN, COPPE+LEGOFRIENDLY, EDO ECHO SOUNDSYSTEM, FALLOPIAN DISCO FORCE, ZEN LA ROCK (Emcee), COD HEAD+TIGER (DJs)…
In short: a very delicious line up of electronic music (+some of the more experimental guys at IMGSRC will support the evening hours with visuals)!
PLEASE ENJOY OUR ALL FREE FUN PARTY AT THE PARK!
For any further information, check out our PingMag PartyPage!
Since Test Tone sorted out the music and everything else (THANK YOU SO MUCH!), we only had the little head-ache left to decide on the right motif for the flyer…..
Ryoko at Yoyogi Park was the sweetest….

Uleshka went for a funky pink skirt…

…but Takeshi actually made it on the flyer!

Very much hope that many of you find the time to celebrate with us in the park!
Remember - it is a FREE event, so make sure you bring your friends along! LET’S BE LOUD and see you soon!
