Writers wanted!!!

“Don’t go, Kyoko!” is what I screamed when I heard the shocking news that my dearest Japanese editor is about to run off and get married. In America! To a total stranger!! Without my permission!!!

My life is in ruins!

Who will help me when my Japanese lets me down? Who can assist with research? Who is bilingual (English-Japanese) with knowledge in design? Who can translate loads of articles with joy? Who has an eye for “PingMag material” ?

On top of that, our increasing exposure to the world (thanks to you, dear readers) means that now more than ever the pressure is on for us to create fun, interesting and valuable content. This has all resulted in a big headache PingMag looking for new staff!

Are you based in Japan? Are you into design and making things? Do you have some writing experience? Are you an English speaker, or Japanese speaker or maybe even both? If so, then perhaps you might want to help us create our articles!!?

Or are you a PingMag-loving-student looking for work-experience? Would you like to assist us in discovering design and meeting creators?

    I am a casual reader of PingMag who found you by word-of-mouth (blog-of-net).
    時々 I enjoy reading PingMag’s articles because they have a nice blend of content, graphics, color and scope.
    The layout and overall approach is very much in line with the so-called Web2.0 wave and it is natural to think of riding the wave more. I mean, you may want to consider opening the making of PingMag to the collaborative effort of the many people that, like me, may just have ideas or links to contribute rather than full articles or a continuing assistance.

    Well, just a half baked comment.
