Today, we have Takeshi and his Origami dog!
1. What was your favorite ping article?
I enjoyed the web development article - the link went crazy on del.icio.us and digg.com!
2. What have you learned (in your job or in your life) this year?
Japanese. No, seriously! Also learned some stuff on presentation technology.
3. What is your new year’s resolution?
To make the project I’m working on right now into a big success!

fold here…

fold there…
4. Plans for the days off?
Well for New Year I’m going back to my family home in Hiroshima, then after that I’m going to Kyoto for 10 days, for meditation class.
5. What do you want ping to be in the future?
You should do street interviews! Lets hear the voice of Tokyo! Hmm…maybe it’s not so design-related, but I think lots of readers are interested in Japan so I think they’ll find it interesting.
6. Link to personal page, project/any other comments!
http://www.takeshiamano.com has lots of my photos, but no recent ones…
Happy holidays!

Takeshi-san origami umai desu ne! What I want to know is, where are the standard issue earthquake proof desks, the plastic covers and green felt mats with personal photos tucked underneath, the kacho’s desk, the clinical lightning, inline seating arrangements…is it me or has the Japanese office world undergone a revolution?
