Happy New Year from PingMag!
Today, we have Kyoko’s Origami Dog. She seemed to have a hard time figuring out how to fold….
1. What was your favorite ping article?
I am a big fan of editorial stuff. So, publisher’s interviews such as Little More and Die Gestalten Verlag are fun to read. Actually, the Little More interview was the first interview I conducted, ever. I remember getting so nervous.
Fun topics like Catbus, Octopus park are nice, too. And I was quite surprised that Uleshka did the making headline news report!
2. What have you learned (in your job or in your life) this year?
Ummmm, I think it has to be something to do with translation. In the beginning I had such a hard time choosing the right words to convey the original meaning. I hope it is getting better and better everyday, though. Other than that, I learned the “never give up until you try” philosophy from Uleshka. She is also amazing when it comes to meeting people. Because of her, I was able to meet many people this year (though I am so shy.)
3. What is your new year’s resolution?
Take things one day at a time
Cook and eat dinner at home

My head hurts!

fold there…
4. Plans for the days off?
I am going back to my parents house. I would love to sleep and watch TV as much as I want during holidays. I just want to be lazy.
5. What do you want Ping to be in the future?
I want it to keep the same fun and silly sensibilities, but in a “serious” way. That’s PingMag style.
6. Link to personal page, project/any other comments!
Happy New Year to all!
