Tomorrow is the last day for Swedish Style 2005. There has been over 50 exclusive events in the Tokyo area. How many did you check out?
I went to one of their food events, “Mother Gun says: Take a PAUSE” at Cafe Pause in Ikebukuro. Gun Larsson and her son created a temporary Swedish-style cafe. You could enjoy a selection of Swedish coffee, cinnamon rolls and more.
Yellow and Blue toys were placed at each table. They were of snapazoo(the official Swedish Style mascot!) This toy is actually a soft, velour-covered shape with links and notches located in various places so that you can arrange it into many shapes by yourself! During my stay in the cafe, I tried to make a bunny or an elephant. But no matter how many times I tried, I ended up making some weird, imaginary creature. Doh!
