Last night at Superdeluxe one could really relax and enjoy a perfect mixture of digital and analog. Asuka Okamura + Akira Shimura blended their old-school-oil-on-water visuals with DVD-video-snippets and live-cam, which supported the music perfectly. After Cinnabom’s guitar & vocal solo, ZERO, L?K?O’s new project with KOYO(sax), KUJUN(Drums), ARATA(Guitar) and HIROYA(DubMix), took over. Compared to other L?K?O performances, he sounded much more melodic this time and he truly played his turntable like an instrument, cutting, pitching, distorting - creating new sounds, rhythm and melody. ZERO as well as L?K?O will shortly be releasing some new albums. Looking forward!!!
