Having a chat with Bjørn Melhus at Spiral Garden while his art works were arranged, he told me how amazed he was that the Japanese workers actually manage to set everything up within two days. Setting up an exhibition in Europe always encounters so many unforeseen troubles, that two days would never be sufficient. Funnily enough, Carsten Nicolai told me exactly the same thing the evening before.
I went again to Spiral today, to look at the finished exhibition Eastern- Western- Park and to interview Bjørn Melhus about media art, TV, Japan and German cowboys.
His exhibition will be shown from April 28 - May 6 2005. Have a look!
